Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
the trails are pretty clear for most part. we only have kO2s no mud tires. did just fine. i put in 4 hi once rest in 2 wd. there are some wash out spots with goey puddles here and there but not many per trail. there is a rough spot atthe begining of one trail that may give lower and longer...
so we (wilson123/wife) went up saturday to scope things out. we got two great spots to camp with great scenery. did a couple of trails in between both spots great views up high of the lake and tree lines. working on getting that set up to show and get input as to when and which spot. see...
depends on state your going to. funtreks has some great books showing what trails are rated by easy to hard. if you use a garmin they sell same maps in an sd card. but either way is fine. i use either waze or google maps to get there the gaia for the trail saved. experiment see which works best...
well if you go international way. smaller rims say a 15 then add more tire a big side wall to air down with helps , but agreed on most of the response go beefy tread. if a 285 will fit.
lots in dfw area. most meet ups are on saturdays. kinda sucks when you work it. but we have had great turn outs. the different styles of builds are helpful.
we have all 3. picked up the set of the mtx 115 and the 1000vpn hand helds. now have one in the jeep and two to have for spotters or if out walking to stay in contact. the non contact east of dallas i get that as well. im on the road either at 2am heading to dfw airport or after 1 heading home...
