Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
It's a great area....camping is sparse since the private campground closed....We camp at Sullivan Green State park when we are in the area...I'll try to make it up there...but that is coming right off OEE so it really depends on what it's like around the house....
I have not been in contact with the people at OEE…I did send in a request to volunteer again this year but have not heard back…I think we are on our own…as of now I’m planning on arriving on Wednesday and try to get a good spot…I’ll post a map of the venue just like I have done in years past...
You should come to AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days this weekend at Mid Ohio Raceway. I’ll be there with a bunch of other overlanders indulging our vintage motorcycle sides. Just ask for the Kentucky Korner. (You’ll see a OB banner flying as well…it’s a party so be ready for a bash!

Do they work separately?…you may be asking too much from your iPad…it may be that you can only use one at a time…try pairing one to your iPad and one to your phone and see if that works…I had issues pairing my spotX to my phone…they sent me out another unit and it works fine now…
I can’t wait…If you are familiar with GAIA GPS and Gravelmap.com it would be nice to be able to see what roads are dirt, gravel, trail, rock garden etc…I know these are all crowed sourced and rely on data from the person who inputs them…up loads of gpx files work well from platform to platform...
Im currently working on a route that will link the southern terminus of the Trans Wisconsin to Shawnee…I’ll drop it in a about a year…it takes a long time to put a route like this together it will contain a Lilly pad approach…jumping from dispersed site to dispersed site…but again this is a long...
I’ve been using Gaia for years now and have built up my own data base of places to go…you need to find gpx files and upload them into Gaia…but…waypoints are not included so you won’t find those spots…also some people are very secretive about dispersed camping spots especially in the lower...
