I recently bought the Wilco Offroad Solo high clearance tire carrier. Needs some adjusting to get it to sit closer to the ML, but its a lot more solid than my previous self built one (which starting falling apart with the heavier spare tire). Edit to reupload pictures, the original ones...

So a couple weeks ago I found a nail in the sidewall of one of my tires...which couldn't be patched (I'm not trusting a sidewall patch unless its the only option to get to a tire shop) and so thanks to the all wheel drive nature of the ML, I had to get all new tires. Decided to go from 255/65r16...

I dunno that I'll make the trip. Didn't get the new job and now my ML is in the shop due to a shut off issue when stopped for a minute after being run for awhile. Might be something with the fuel system or a sensor. It's at my mechanic and I should know what it is next week, but I dunno how much...

I'm eventually planning on putting 33's on it! Well, 32.8...close enough! Just gotta finish the suspension lift before putting those size tires on it to avoid any chance of rubbing.

Doesn't look like it unfortunately...We were meeting up once a month for most of last year, hopefully we'll get that started up again in the next month or so. I haven't been to Jones Lake, or in that region of NC. I'm also planning on using tax monies for a lift, haha.

I'm off on the 3rd and 4th, on the 10th I'm going in for an alignment, and then I'm free on the 19th and 20th, not sure beyond the 20th. I'm also free today and tomorrow (Tuesday), but I have plans so I can't go anywhere...

So with my new ranger rotation I barely have any weekends off. Is anyone else usually free during the weekdays and link up with for 1 night trips? It's been forever since I've been out camping and it's easier for me to go during the week when my 2 days off usually are.

Sesqui is a really nice park, its a shame I-20 is right next to it. Other than that its a good park. I've never been to Goodale, it looks like a small park and maybe that's why some rangers from Sesqui also work there.
