Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Hey guys, I bumped into @witchdoctor_33 the other day and he mentioned he's got a buddy wanting to come along and I've got a friend who's gonna be coming along as well. I was wondering if anyone else has some friends coming along in their own rigs as well. We've only got 5-6 rsvp'd at this point...
Removing winches and bumpers is very labor intensive and the slight change in performance isn't worth the time you'd put into swapping them. I think most people just deal with those. I know some guys only run their RTTs certain times of the year when it would be used and some guys have setups to...
@xnooby63 Are there bypasses around the water holes or shallower lines through them?
@DRJ I personally don't like going through deep water or mud in my vehicles either, that is just a maintenance nightmare. I'm not against turning around if I encounter something I'm not willing to subject my...
I don't think the damage is that bad. I'd get a blacked out hood while I was at it, cut the glare when traveling. I want to black out my hood and this seems like the perfect opportunity for you! I doubt that little dent above the door will affect anything. As long as there isn't an amazing...
My pan rides in my mess kit. To clean it, I out some water in it while its hot, dunno that, wipe it down with a towel or scrubbing sponge, place over heat to dry and then rub down with oil and heat it till the oil smokes. I do the same thing with my pans at home.
I think you should probably just stick with your truck as it's newer and almost paid for and get rid of the equipment you don't feel you need anymore. Then just start daily driving it! Like you said, the pieces you added don't add value to the truck, but by themselves you can recoup quite a bit...
I've not measured mine and I can't find a listing online, but it is pretty big. We've just been at improved sites with it so we haven't had any issues finding a space. I could see it being a challenge if you were in some of the dispersed spots I've come across though.
We have some issues with the little flap at the zipper as well. You kind of develop a method of using it though.
We honestly had no issue putting it back in the bag BEFORE we popped the little extra room thing open on the back of the bag. I wish we had never open it up honestly, it packed away...
Well welcome! You're more than welcome to ride along, but I'm not sure about trail widths and how tight "tight" is to you. Bob @xnooby63 is the only one of us who has any experience with the trail and it's been a while since he's been there, but maybe he has some input on that. Probably expect...
Here is the NOVA meetup thread. Not sure what Mike has going on over there but check it out!
