Looking for a good pencil flashlight that I can keep in a suit jacket pocket. Since I work at a bank knives are a no no, but I'd like to have something that I could beat someone with if need be. Any recommendations?

I've heard good things about them, but have not personally used one. I've got a Weber Q that I use, while not small, it's awesome.

Looks good! I cleaned the frost off the inside of the truck and drove it around the block (gingerly) since I don't have the shackles fixed yet.

We haven't gotten much this winter. Probably 6" or less on the ground, at leat here in the Twin Cities.

It definitely has a learning curve to it. I try to play around with it in my downtime to learn more of it.

As have I. I got a cheap Scientific Fisherman Fly Rod for my birthday about 15 years ago, and have never used it. Was looking at either buying a new one, or using that one. Would love to learn how to fly fish though. Otherwise I normally fish, read, or just sit and relax.

Was just thinking about this.. what about a small fishing kit? Wouldn't take much room, and would be light and provide another way to get food.

Im running Android and I like Backcountry Navigator Pro. Still have a lot to learn on it, but so far it's been great.
