Any time I leave, I've got to bring hot sauce with me. Food everywhere else is just so bland, bless their hearts Sent from my SM-N950U using OB Talk mobile app

We should set up a Louisiana group on here! Does anyone know if there's a way to do that?

    Backpacking and hiking

Cool deal, I'll have to look up where that is when I get home from work. I'd hate to google search "glory hole in Arkansas" on my work computer :tearsofjoy:

Cool deal, I'll drop them a line some day soon. I just found out that I have to move in a couple of months, so I'll have to plan around house hunting Sent from my SM-N950U using OB Talk mobile app

Kayaks - Inflatable, Rigid, Folding. . . whaddya have and how do ya like it?

If you're worried about the dog popping a whole in the floor, you could always lay down a yoga mat in the bottom for protection. I'd also carry some patches just in case, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. I guess it also depends on how lively your dog is

Welcome to the forum and the lower 48! Looks like you've got a pretty capable copilot there, you might just learn a thing or two if you stick with them!

I've got a late 2000's Perception Carolina 14.5', a 2015 Pelican Trailblazer 10', and I just got rid of my Dagger Bayou 10'. All rigid kayaks and all sit inside. I love my Carolina the most due to storage and ease of paddling. The Dagger had such a flat bottom that it just tracked wherever it...

Sorry for the necro-bump, but I'm in the Baton Rouge area and I'm looking for some places within the state that have some easy trailing. If you decide to make a trip in my neck of the woods, let me know!

You're in my neck of the woods! I work in Norco, so we're only a short swim apart some days. Do you happen to know any easy trails in the area to cut my teeth into without putting some pin-striping on my pretty new Jeep?

Hello from Baton Rouge, Louisiana! I got my bone stock 2014 V6 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 last week and am ready to do some overlanding! I've always been a Ford guy, so this is really stepping out of my comfort zone haha. I've never been offroading before besides on 3-wheelers at the hunting camp...

Hello everyone! I just got into offroading in general, but I've been back country camping for years. My rig is a stock 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 Limited that I'm about to put a lift kit on. Anyone else in the South Louisiana area??? A little about me: I was huge into Mustangs and drag...
