I here ya! Me and Cee Cee where talking about it all weekend how we wish it was monthly. That was seriously one of the best times... and @administrator ,nice little second and pic about my truck getting hit! It was a scramble to get all the work done in time to make it and I'm so glad we did.

@Steve how "dust proof" do the seals look? Is there anything like a soft ring in the inside or is it just plastic on plastic?

and of course I only took pics of mine...

@Mad_Garden_Gnome He'd already left too! Most were already heading out... I really want to go next year and check it out.

So, late last week, a Land Cruiser/Toyota "meet" was announced, nicknamed "turf and surf". It was put on by a group called Central Coast Land Cruisers this past weekend. They hold it Friday through Sunday every November. (it's nice and warm here in November) Me and @SLOCeeCee went by on Sunday...

you know @SRQ-Runner , I've seen some guys wheel 2wd 4Runners and had no idea they weren't 4x's. Its a pretty fine dance between momentum and traction, but they will absolutely surprise you. They're very balanced and capable. I may need to steal some of your ideas for mine...

I've got OME's and love them. 881's and 890's. You'll want heavier perhaps because of the bumpers you'll be adding? I got about 3" lift from each and after 3 months I haven't seen settling yet. I have a little rake, but when loaded it's level.

I found 19.99 Plano locker boxes at www.academy.com I picked one up (mentioned in another thread) There's some other decent deals on that site.

I have the K02's and love them...highway, in town, off road, sand...all of it. 265/75/16 from www.onlinetires.com

I just grabbed one too. I think I can run a small bead of foam around it to help with dust too. Good deal. I appreciate the heads up on this!

I've only driven through barreling back and forth to Vegas. It's a solid half day drive from me. But yeah...sounds about right!
