Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
So I've always loved the rally style decals that go on the side of rally cars, with the flag and name. I've been toying with printing some in the similar style with my country and member number. Thoughts?
Don't forget the driveshaft. If you lift 3" or above you should seriously consider a new front driveshaft. The stock CV style driveshaft has a rubber boot on it which can come into contact with the exhaust on later models and melt, causing grease to leak and foreign objects to get in, thus...
I've had one d-ring fall off before, no idea how when or why. I drive my Jeep without a roof and sometimes without doors, so I'm always concerned that someone will peak around inside. It's happened once or twice, but never anything stolen except for a loonie and some toonies from the cup holder.
I've got it, but rarely use it. I'm a windows down kind of guy. I did use it when it hit 104 degrees in Portland traffic last weekend though on my way back to BC, that was a bit much to sit in with no roof on.
I will not let any shop touch my rig, except for highly technical things, such as gear ratio change. I've only ever had terrible experiences with shops. Plus, when you do it yourself you become familiar with your rig and you can fix more in the bush.
