Some days I look at my truck and wish it was a tad higher. (No idea why, it's super capable with a 3" OME lift) then I park next to stock and feel better.

I've done both. But it's been closed during all the rain storms. They close it at the drop of a hat as there's steep sides to the dirt road. It can be, and usually is rutted, but to prepare for wildfires, they scrape it in the spring. Running either way is fun, but I like ending at the north end...

We can get you to some amazing Big Sur spots. Your truck will be fine, but we can drain the camera battery...it's a great area.

Yeah..it's only 17 miles, but it's really fun....and branches off to Garcia Ridge ( much more serious) and a road up to the condor lookout.

Where was that patch of snow? Over by Ligget or up on Nacimiento Ferguson? I've never seen any stick there. Glad you guys had fun and had enough 805 to pull through! I'd love to try again soon. Maybe come in from north of Bixby when it's opened back up?
