Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I'd say I'm around 600#. Even after putting the Tepui on, I was still able to grab the pintle with 1 hand and move the trailer around easily . My guess is that I'm pretty close to about 10% tongue weight.
That looks great! I like how he added that top piece in the back to mount lights if you want. Mine just has 2 tabs to add lights.
That rack can hold a lot of stuff.
Your rack should be like mine, just shorter. I'm 99% sure you'll have the same supports in the same spots to mount your RTT. Looking forward to seeing it when you get it.
The burner breaks down pretty compact. The disk is another story. Good thing is, we could use it as a long range steel target, or a satellite dish, or we could play captain America, or we could use it as a disk down some dunes or snow like on Christmas Vacation.
I got a chance to set up my plow disk and burner. It's good to do a pre-run before venturing out. The Kahuna XL sits about 24" tall.
With the Rio Grande 24" blade it sits around 27" to the top of the disk. I may just have enough room to feed my family, and anyone next to us.
I got my trailer back today. Not bad looking. It does have a few spots that are a little light on the powder coating. Overall, I'm happy with it. Just need to do the wiring, and it'll be ready to go.
I didn't have much time to set it all up today. Yes, it is a big burner. I did notice it said it could handle woks up to 22". My Rio Grande is 24". More to come in the next couple of weeks.
