Forest Report: Rothrock State Forest has zero ice. It was flurrying last night and at elevations over 2000 feet it was laying at the edges of the road, grassy/leafy areas. Lots and lots of trees down. Most where cut away from the roads...looks like many more thinking of taking the fall. Would...

My son also got a telescope from Santa. We have had nothing but cloud cover since. We did get to look at the moon and Jupiter. We use the Sky Safari App to see what to check out and for a guide to where to look. We have always star gazed...but as he nears 10 years of age...he is much more...

This is why I steer clear of group activities. I appreciate a group that has rules and a plan. And some one that can lead enough to stick to them. Always fun to see how diverse people's opinions are of how to do something. Good stuff!
