What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Already got some off Amazon. They were fairly cheap. Rival wanted $50 for 4 pieces, so I said no. $15 for 8 seems a better deal haha.

    12v fridge recommendations

Had a dometic cf18 (18 quart), went to a alpicool 35 qt. Love this fridge. Dual zone, app controlled if you want. It sits in my rig full time now, so helpful with groceries. I went for the biggest one that would fit. It has handle and wheels, so it barely fits. Sometimes the jeep tailgate...

    Electric chainsaw recommendations?

I think I've watched almost all of his videos, even if I'm not getting the products he's testing, it's just so well done.

    Is Electro-Overlanding a thing yet?

Until they vastly improve range, probably not. You'd have to bring some generators and charge them all night, and I'm not even sure how much range that'll give you. Until they get 600+ road range and 400+ offroad range, I won't even think about it. My jeep gets 400+ road, 300+ offroad, and I...

What's the deal with repair parts these days???

I worry about that too, I drive the diesel wrangler and it's been discontinued. I plan to keep it as long as I can, but hope they can still do repairs on it done the line. They still make the engine for trucks I believe.

Usually camp with my 2 dogs, sometimes my wife. I like harder to reach areas to camp.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Broke my roofrack on a hidden branch that was in a tall tree. Nearly ripped the roofrack off, it was one solid branch! Ordered a new rack, a flat one from Rival.

    Legal Weapons and Overlanding

I have an air rifle. Basically a BB gun on steroids. Semi, 0.30 cal, 900+ force, supressor, no recoil, folding stock, 45 grain slugs that will easily take down deer and boar. Wanting to get a CF scuba tank, to refill rifle, and possibly fill tires and air impact/tools.

    Overlanding with Physical Limitations

I had 2 open heart surgeries within a year (recent), and my mobility was lessened, and because my sternum was cracked open twice, it will never be the same again. Im not allowed to lift more than 25 lbs for 6 months, and I've talked to other transplant recipients and they said it takes forever...

    Non Lethal self protection

On an overland trip, my dogs will always be with me. I carry a pocket knife on me daily. Also have a spear around my camp, but not sure if it's non-lethal. It's extremely sharp and could easily hit an artery.

What’s the best way to stay warm in my rooftop tent?

Made a rookie mistake and didn't camp with proper gear. Summer tent and summer bag, in Utah at -14°f. Barely slept and fingers weren't moving. Now I have a much better bag, slightly better tent, insulated underwear, warm gloves, wool socks, and a heated blanket. It draws about 50 - 75 watts...

best ceramic coating for pin stripes

Ceramic probably won't help against pin striping. I've thought about wrapping, but seen ones that have been on trails and it tears it. The best thing I've seen for protection against Bush and branches is those magnetic armor you slap on the panels. Downside is they don't make them for all...

    flying drones

I hate people using drones. They get way too close to camp. Wish I had better aim....
