Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
That entire unit comes out and I store my winter gear there. If I bring my Skottle am am cooking for a larger group I put that in as a unit. For my dog and I we keep it very simple as stated elsewhere.
Made some tools for my skottle. Couple of support racks and some mixing spoons out of red oak. The metal one out of flat 16g. plate and black walnut handle is my favorite. The slip on drink holder for beer or coffee. They all work really well.
I went with a shiftpod mini for my dog and I. Better in wind and I can move it around out of the wind. About 60 inches or so in the bag, Like the ability to unzip the floor. It was on sale at about $400 and does great in the rain. Weighs about 65 pds maybe and rides on my roof rack. Good quick...
Curious if you were in really cold weather and it was left out. Causing it to "delaminate" before cooking. They are blanched with a sticky heavy oil that I did not care for.
I chat with Marco and Jerry all the time, just message them on instagram and I bet they would get right back to you. Or...
On mine the center cooked off, I let it heat up and wiped off the heated "oil" they say it it ready to cook but the oil seemed so pasty I wanted it cleaned off so I could start my own seasoning with olive oil.
I ended up heating it slightly and take a razor blade and scraping the rim off then...
I put one on in case I need it, $150 and a few hours. They CAN be waterproof if you do a decent job on the install.
Its there if I need it. I wired in a fan cutoff seitch also.
Just need to be prudent on any water crossing, my Jeep isn't a submarine and I treat it as such.
Time changes things constantly, good today is not for tomorrow. I find it easier just to make my own stuff, ensures quality and fitment along with form and function.
If it fails I blame the guy in the rear view mirror... my dog isn't happy about that...
