Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
As a WCU grad, I wish I had done some overlanding during my undergrad around that area. I’ve done a lot of GA in my OB, even stock height, so I need to find some challenges in WNC!
Front Runner WolfPack Boxes are currently what I’m running. Once I’ve got my Prinsu on, I’ll spend the money on some ROAM 83L’s and the organizers. Outback has a lot of space, but it’s easily taken lol
As far as camping goes, we will be doing a 2 vehicle setup. I’ll be rocking my 2020 OB XT with most of our camp set up gear, and my wife will have the kids and probably some sort of kitchen set up in the back
Ordered my Flatout Suspension coilover lift at the beginning of the month through Currahee Overland. Looking forward to getting that installed along with my Prinsu Rack! In the meantime, here’s some adventures with Ozzie the AdventureDadWagon!
With kid #3 on the way, We decided to trade my wife’s 2015 Subaru Forester XT Touring, nicknamed Skyla, for a 2021 Subaru Ascent Touring(3 Row SUV). I did it as a Christmas surprise... Wife had no idea!
We are planning on making this a 2 rig Family Overland Adventure w/ my 2020 Outback Onyx...
Camping! FYI, if you use a Luno Life Air Mattress, there is not room if you also have a drawer/platform system. I tried it but I did not have a lot of room up top lol. Chalk that one up to disadvantages to rocking a Wagon-SUV. Next I will try using the air mattress un-inflated as a cushion along...
The Dadwagon has been out just about every weekend since the beginning of the year. Found lots of snow, hosted a relatively large get together, and found more reasons for a lift!
Our latest expedition camping out to Clayton, GA. Found out an air mattress, when combined with my drawer system and platform, puts me waaaay too close to my Outbacks ceiling . Had I been scared by something in the middle of the night I would have had a serious collision with my roof LOL. Going...
Nothing too fancy! Going to be modifying my current drawer system for a bit more table space, but for now this works! Still trying to figure it all out.
