    Firestik II SWR readings

    With the firestik, when I was tuning mine I needed to make sure the fire ring connector had a good ground to the chassis of the truck. Without that I was also getting SWR readings all over the place. Once I got it grounded properly it tuned very nicely.

    Where to go this winter?

    If you like a mix of overlanding and some tourist stuff, the area around Barstow CA is nice. Look at Owl Canyon Campground, Rainbow Canyon for some cool geologic formations and then the "ghost town" of Calico for some tourist entertainment.

    2016 Toyota Tacoma by Total Chaos

    Awesome video. I'm not 100% sure, but I think I saw this truck at a Chevron station in Barstow CA today. Put my '07 TRD Sport to shame.
