Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
We could also do a run from Seneca to Sisters. It's a 240 mile stretch. but it could probably be done in 2ish 2.5 days depending on how many rigs we have.
I don't have any recent experience in Oregon to be able to plan any kind of trail run yet. I would need some assistance with that planning.
One thing that came to mind was to see how far we could get on the WABDR, starting at the Columbia River and heading north. Though, that was just a...
We're still trying to work out the exact location... The original plan didn't work out due to some closures.
We should have updated information soon. I'm expecting that it will likely be somewhere near the location we had last year near Cle Elum though.
This is the official thread for the WA BDR run, Memorial Day weekend.
Current Rig Count: 8!
Tentatively full! If there is another group leader, we can split the group and add more!
Current People Count: 11!

I'm not sure how many people I'm going to be able to take on this run. It...
and 25 is closed for the season also...
I guess that means I either take the chance and drive out to NF-21, or go all the way south and come in through 68 and see how far I can get...
Any ideas would be great... The closed roads need to... be open.
I'm sure you could get into an RTT, including the heavier duty load bars for way less than $3600!
I know from experience that the people over at CVT are always happy to help figure things out. I've heard the same thing about the people at Tepui, and HIT from other members here.
For $3600 you...
When you look at your numbers, there should be two. The weight for cargo when you're driving, and the standing weight when you're parked.
Both are obviously important. Most roof top capacity is diminished by the crappy little cargo rails that tend to come stock with vehicles.
Most vehicles...
I'm tentatively thinking about heading out Friday night to get into the forest near Randle and find a spot for the night.

I'm thinking just going and checking out the status of Gifford Pinchot will be the way to go.
I kind of want to head out Friday night, though I'm sure I could find a good spot on the edge of the forest for a morning rally point before heading deeper into the forest.

Unless something better comes up, I may just pick a couple points in Gifford Pinchot and see if I can get to them. Testing out some new gear is part of why I want to go out... Though, it's mostly because I just need to get out!
It is. I threw it in a corner, and kind of forgot about it. I really don't have any kind of motivation to ship it though...
That said, if someone wants to pick it up, I'd lower the price significantly. I'd even put it all back together and make sure I still have all the bolts :joycat:
