Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I am running a CB that is that is bumped up. I've talk to the CB shop in Los Angeles at the I-10 and the I-15 truck stop and me in Wyoming on the I-80. In New Mexico talking to Texas all in skip land tho. I'm only pushing 400 watts but thinking of going to a ham radio. How many watts in a CB...
I used Hi-lift on my LC in the past but not for my Dodge. I'll need like a 5-6 foot jack. I carry a bottle jack and wood plank for a platform for safety. It does fine.
fbledsoe, I remember that commercial with that Indian and If I remember correctly the person playing that Indian wasn't even an Indian but an actor. Isn't that something, even our commercials are fake. At least everything on the internet is real. Lol.
That's why we have no deer, they are all at your place. Lol. Nice. I heard if you go further up north you'll find deer. Here in the valley even the roaches are leaving CA.
It looks like the meeting is at the same place as the last meeting. Off Herndon Ave at pieology?
Is that BC pizza better than pieology? Piratewilly, the meeting is from 1pm to 3pm and I will be rollin from Porterville. AOM did you rsvp? I will have a new swing arm tire carrier and a bed set...
Tents are good as long as its not windy. On a Death Valley trip I slept warm in my camper I could hear the flapping of those tents loud in the wind. 41 mph winds. One couple tent rods bent and they ended up sleeping in the the cab and another woke up with his tent laying on his face pressing...
I guess I am pretty simple. Instant coffee. Boil water, add instant French Vanilla Cappuccino, no sugar dump all into my tall Yeti and on to more important stuff like getting the BACON started. Hickory Smoked, peppered, think cut from the deli.
Any updates on the next central valley meet up? With my job I need plenty of notice to make it so I am checking in.
Just spit balling here. How about every 3rd Sunday of the month around 2-4 pm. leave Saturday for the family and Sunday morning for church people and after that is OB time. People...
fly boy, you'll want to join in on this trip. I posted " Who's doing a Mojave Rd trip? and this post came up and I jumped in. Mike lead the Death Valley trip this last March and I went on it and it was cool, so I have confidence that this one should be a great trip too. Till then you'll find me...
I do want to go with some one that has been there before. I wanted to go this Oct 4th but I haven't got my truck back from the shop. A group is going on spring break 4/14 to 4/19 so I got in on that group. I went with some of them on the Death Valley trip this year and they were a great group...
Yeah!!! I'm in. I'm in. I should have some extra add-ons to show. It be great to see the Death Valley group again, they were great. Is it windy in Mojave too?
Located in central CA. 50 miles n/ne of Bakersfield CA. AKA the desert. When I get my Dodge back from the shop I will post pics of the bumper. My camp is easy to set up, pull out 2 folding tables, 1 cooking table and 1 eating table and right back in real quick. Everything but the kitchen sink.
Na, no diesel. 5.9 V8. in the cab I run 400w CB, Tom-Tom GPS, XM Radio, dash Cam and an Inverter for some electrical and soon to have on board air and a winch after my bumper. I had Chrome Bullet steps and broke one last year on a rock trying squeeze into a camping spot between trees and a rock...
Top is at 9200 ft and 2nd is Death Valley. Having a custom rear bumper w/ tire swing arm and 2 Jerry cans being made right now for a her. 3rd I sleep comfortable in my portable motel 6 with a 360 view. Notice the TP in case I want to write to Obama. Next is the slide out boxes for under the...
I'm currently looking into one now but when I went to order the one I want it was sold out, so I will be looking at the sites that were posted here. I can hold off for an OB if one is in the making. The bag and add a patch is a cool idea and its puts OB out there.
