Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I have noticed no real change, maybe a little easier when you get a little articulation but not much. It's easy to remove and reinstall, just 4 bolts if you want to try it.
OH yes I love the King Springs and have had a wonderful experience with them. Although I have noticed a little over dampening if I go over bumps a little hard, backend tends to jump back up. I hate those unexpected obstacles off road. All in all I love them especially since I've taken the rear...
Very nice build. very close to my 2.5i. Outback I love this car and it is very capable (see my signature for link to my build). Have had it out in the desert numerous times and once in the forest up in Oregon on a intermediate trail called Cedar Tree in Tilamook National Forest and surprised a...
I drive to the PNW a lot to visit family, PCH is a slow road the further north you go. Don't rush it. Camping in the Redwoods in CA is great although would add another day to your trip. Many things to see along the way. I just did a run up from Eureka to Portland area in December and visited a...
I have never taken the ferry but I was thinking about the ferry back but decided to drive. For the ferry ride with me and the vehicle was expensive from Skagway to Vancouver, Canada. If you do take the ferry make sure you stop in Juneau and Ketchikan as I think those places have a lot to see...
Yes the rim brake caliper clearance might be an issue. Have you called ADF and talked to Patrick about this. He should have information you require. Just make sure you tell him the year and model of your Outback.
Thanks for the info. Might not have time to do all of that but I will be adventuring north more in the future years. THis gives me more reason to get back there.
It is easy to keep on the track with the arrow, just takes practice. Zoom in to what you feel comfortable and it becomes easy. I have been using a Garmin 60 and Montana in the desert for years and it has been second nature to me for a long time. I was coming off a Motorcycle so couldn't hear...
Hi, talked to you on the youtube comments, my journey is the one to the Dempster Highway. Here is the route I am taking
Again, hope our paths cross somewhere out there, would enjoy sharing dinner with you all. I'll be leaving Vancouver, WA about July 18th heading for Glacier NP and then north...
I'll keep everyone informed, but might only be a few days notice for my departure from Vancouver, WA. THen it will be about 4-5 days before I hit Jasper.
All right my trip is getting closer and I'm in the final stages of preparation. Vehicle is ready just needs final fluid changes before leaving. Camping gear is waiting. GPS route is set and just the final tweeks to it are being done. Will be leaving SoCal on July 9th to head to Vancouver, WA...
Let us know the date of departure, mine is tentatively set for July 15-19 all dependent on the 4th grandson popping his head out of moms belly. I'll be leaving at that time from Vancouver, WA.
I still have a lot of prep to do also. Finalizing the GPS tracks.
Got my copy of the Milepost after it...
