Great report! I've done many many trips to MNF but never this one.
I don't think there is a way through from French Ridge over towards Letts Lake. All of those roads are either blocked by private property or are washed out/overgrown.
@SAFETYRUNNER Thanks for the idea! I've been thinking about this since you mentioned it. Friday night I looked around on Amazon and found one I figured would work out well. It arrived at 8:00 this (Sunday) morning! I think it turned out pretty well for almost zero effort!

I started out with the Sackware Toyota, Land Rover, and Jeep stickers along the back edge of the tailgate. Recently Ive been collecting the signs of interesting or scenic highways I've traversed most or all of. ...ok, I haven't done Hwy 4 just yet.

Another cool tool for routes is Scribble Maps!: https://www.scribblemaps.com/
It allows you to draw a route over Google Maps and then export it to your GPS device.
I think you forgot tough off-road tires, which would be my number one recommendation.
Also, I'd wait 'n see about the front bumper and winch kind of things. I'm not sure you're really going to need them. They'll cost and weigh a lot.
Paved roads are a 100% acceptable form of exploration!
