K so brakes were delayed so I worked wheels and tires. Nixed the black paint on the wheels, maybe later. But now Chuck is beast mode...
Some trimming needed, started with bumper...little cut Top and bottom, remove the plastic, whack with BFH, hit it with truck bed liner, adds 2" of clearance.
Tuff Country torsion keys in front, add-a-leafs on back and new shocks all around. Added about 2" to Chuck's height.
Front brakes will get done this weekend - needs new rotors and pads. And I've decided to do a disc brake conversion on the rear as soon as I can, because drums suck.
Pulled all the plastic trim off the stock running boards. I'll probably hit them with bed liner so they have some sort of grip. Little dirty under the plastic.
Strapped my traction boards on the back of the rack to see if that's where I want them. It's either there or in front of the axe and shovel on the driver side. Not sure what I'll do permanently yet.
Lift finally delivered as well as shocks, so next step is putting that together. Also been installing coverking ballistic cordura seat covers. And father's day present landed in the form of recovery traction boards. So as I get a few things done I'll throw pics up.
Little by little...right now waiting on just a 2" tuff country lift and shocks so I can get bigger tires underneath. all these delays in supply right now suck the fun out of my impulsiveness.
Speaking of which, I'm likely picking up a full set of 4 Goodyear Wrangler MT/R with Kevlar in...
Yeah, I notice there a quite a bit missing, but they do throw out the disclaimer that it's a work in progress. I don't think you find much like this elsewhere though, so it's a good start.
Here is a new feature that just launched in Utah, includes mapping and video of many of the county and unmaintained roads on public lands throughout the state.
