Thanks for the info. Sorry for the slow response I was out of town yesterday. I already have a memory foam topper but it is to soft to use by itself, wonder if they are all the same. I will try doubling it up with something. What did you wind up using under yours?

Can you talk more about what you tried for a mattress? Brands and sources. What you liked and what you didn't. I need a standard queen size, 3" that's comfortable. Thanks Doug

In your first set of pictures you show a swing out spare tire carrier being built. What did you use for the pivot? It looks like a trailer axle spindle but what is the hub/sleeve that holds the bearing races? Sources? Thanks Doug

wrmmt- sorry for the thread drift but fridge's kinda fit in the discussion. Does anybody use the "thermoelectric" coolers or do I need to stick to the ones with the real compressor. Doug

Rolasolar, Thanks for the input. I had thought of everything you said except the cold rolling out the front. Better inverters are 80-90% efficient. Have found the Cpap adaptor just have not purchased it yet till I figure what direction I'm going. Doug

Planning a dual battery setup. Thinking about a fridge. How would it work to use an AC inverter and a small 120v AC fridge instead of an expensive 12v fridge. Other small AC loads would be a bonus. My wife sleeps with a cpap machine. Doug
