Michael - Love the new video "I Quit"

OK, I'll be the idiot. Where is this video? I went to "Home" then "videos" but no luck. Doug

R.I.P. Beloved vehicles that are now gone (wrecked, traded in,sold,or lost in divorce)

This thread got me thinking of all the stuff I've owned in the past so thanks everyone for the memories. Now I have to learn how to copy old slides to digital. Hear are my first attempts. My first rig , when a junior in high school, was a '48 CJ2A. Through the years I had a pretty long list but...

    Hot Water Systems

Great idea. How does the temp regulator work? If it just turns the pump on and off wouldn't the heat exchanger overheat when the water was not flowing? Doug

    Nature Photos

Cully Thanks for the memories. Grew up in middle TN. Wore out a couple boats skiing on Old Hickory. Numerous times to Fall Creek Falls. Lots of copperheads there. Rappelled down the falls and a friend came face to face with a copperhead on a ledge half way down. Another friends mom got bit on...

Thanks for first link, interesting. Doug I have wondered about that because I don't see a focus control on the one I linked to. I have thought about this more lately because of the thread on here about first rigs. Would love to post some landcruser pictures from the '70's. Thanks Doug

I hope this is a good place for this question. I have been thinking I wanted to go though a few thousand of my old slides and a few negatives and convert some of them to digital. Has anyone used this or something similar? Have a better way? We're not talking big budget, pro. Doug

How cheep can you be to run a fridge

What am I missing. I see $600+/- on Amazon. I wish I could find one for that. I am on the cheap side myself. Doug

The In-No-Hurry™ Big Whup build/mod thread

More of a camera question. I always grin when people use auto cameras to show lite comparisons. If yours is on manual what makes the sky and distant buildings so different? BTW impressive lights. Doug

Worked perfect. Thanks. Downloaded your attachment and it opened in Google earth and saved it in "My places". Cool, does this mean I'm a nerd now:smiley: and can throw away all my paper maps. Thanks Doug

That's OK. I was just curious. I am just a beginner at this computer map stuff but this just caught my eye because I like that area. Years ago we lived in AR. and almost bought 108ac just north of Mena. Love the area. Hot and humid in the summer. Now live in OR. wet and gray in winter, oh well...

What am I doing wrong? I get google earth but none of your markings. The map comes up centered close to the state line west of Mena. Doug
