Actually.... I bought a roto cooler at Walmart... It's not a yeti, but it kept our stuff cold for 6 days without adding ice in 100+ degree days at Lake Castaic last summer.... For well less than half the cost of that same size yeti... But I digress lol

I think ham for emergencies is a fantastic idea... With or without a license... Remember, it's not illegal to use ham in an emergency situation. Yes there's a learning curve, but thanks to a $30 hand held, $20 cable and free Chirp software, that learning curve is dramatically flattened...
