Expo East was amazing! I was really impressed with Infinity Downs and the way it was all set up! I was actually surprised for the Overland Experience side they had warm showers. The classes were great, the people I met were amazing and OMG all the toys not only for your rig but for camp too...
Call me crazy but our parks should not be commercialized! What a load of crock is that! Its a total bad idea in my opinion! I would completely as I already do stay away from places like that. For example I'm in Orlando, My wife actually works selling tickets so we go to a lot of hospitality...
My Rig's named Ashley. And since she has her slutty alter ego and likes to go topless and door less when she gets naked she's "Sinister". She's a Jeep JK so Sinister JK
Would you say the BAGS themselves are susceptible to breaking on the trail with something that would penetrate the bag as opposed to s a spring? I always kind of figured they would get more abuse off road and would maybe be more susceptible to breakage that on road type driving.
Nice Jeep! My rig when I'm loaded also suffers from Sagging Ass Sydrome. I have been looking at the AEV 4.5" HC or HD springs. I was speaking to the guys from AEV at Expo East and they were telling me they have a HD or HC spring which is exactly for the overlander or heavy ass rigs. It's...
Welcome to OB all the way from Central Florida & Home of that annoying rat the call Mikey Mouse! You'll see this is a gathering world wide of like minded folks who def don't like to be with the hoards of people and like our tranquil solitude. Glad to have you as a part of the family and to see...
So a buddy and I were thinking of planning a trip up to Windrock Park the week before last of November 11/21 -11/24. Were coming up from Florida Wednesday night and prob crash somewhere off the interstate in a truck stop so we can wash our mufflers in the AM :tearsofjoy:and continue up to...
My pleasure! The other trails at Uwharrie were pretty awesome even the difficult trails were a breeze nothing bad at all. This one definitely with a full sized rig you may have to pick a different line than what we ran up and down with. The worst part is when your going down we asked ourselves...
Man those are the ones I need for my truck right there! The Custom Made Domino 14" Pizza Box Models! Extra Chrome and stickers on mine please so they don't get stuck :tearsofjoy:
This far it’s worked out great. We actually use the Skottle even at home almost on a weekly basis. It’s definitely a fit for the needs type thing but the stove works fine too. We needed something where we could make a little bit more food at once for all of us since we have 3 kids besides us.
Jeff absolutely, I attached it here just now. If you go to the thread of the overland bound routes I also posted it there. It was pretty technical and challenging I wont mislead you on that but it was prob some of the best wheeling we've done in a while. We really had to focus on picking a right...
When I got my recovery boards I was afraid they would get stolen and the other thing was damn almost all the mounting systems were a ton of money. Went to Walmart picked up a ratchet start and bicycle lock for under $20 and it’s worked great since. I drive up and down the Easter US with them...
Dometic makes that fridge. They also make the ARB one along with the Cosway brand. but hell don't matter whos fridge it is for the price you paid....Rock on Brother I would have taken any brand for that price and size! They're good fridges!
I use the Lucci lights. They’re pretty good. There was a sale on them for Father’s Day and got them BOGO. They work great as a tent light or even for cooking. They’re def not going to be nearly as bright as a ready light but they work pretty good.
I totally have used the Overland Microwave plenty of times! I'll wrap sandwiches and just about anything I want to "WARM" up and put it under the hood of the jeep. It's not going to cook for you but to have a hot warm lunch or breakfast sandwich if you don't want to eat exactly when you jump...
