It was great when we went in the beginning of July. It was rough in spots, lots of washboard, though overall well maintained. We saw a few moose, and quite a few porcupines along the way, especially close to Quiet lake. The Yukon Territorial campground at Quiet Lake should be worked into the...
That's fantastic. I wish we could go back again this upcoming summer. I had no idea what to expect going way North. I'd heard the stories, and chatted with folks who all said "you just have to go, I can't explain what it is like, but you have to go". They were right. Words cannot describe the...
I may be biased but I'd say Washington State, which is fantastic in it;s own right, but it's proximity to BC is the icing on the cake. For size and diversity nothing and nowhere in North America comes close to British Columbia. I promise we are very friendly and once you've travelled a few...
For what it's worth, we made the trek to Tuk this past summer. We took 3 weeks, and logged over 8500km from our home in Penticton, BC all the way North and back. It was most certainly a trip of a lifetime. We took the Cassiar Hwy North, then up the Alaska Hwy/Klondike Hwy (spent a couple days in...
A comfy warm and dry bed. And the Wife and dogs too, of course. My days of setting up a tent on the rocky ground and freezing my ass off, or staying wet and damp all weekend are all behind me. I now feel kind of spoiled in my Four Wheel Camper, but wouldn't trade it for the world.
The Scepter MFC's also vent internally back through the handle. The benefit is you can turn them almost completely upside down and they will empty very quickly into your tank. The long clear nozzle is also great as you can stuff it into the gas filler then have enough spout to still flip the MFC...
Scepter MFC's rule the world. They seem to be able to take a good beating and never complain. If you get the long flexible clear spout attachment you can fully empty one really quickly with no spilling or anything. They are fantastic. I have had 2 for years and they just do the job. I bought...
Just turn the traction control off (should still be the same 3 levels of "off" as in the tundra - pushing button 3 times), put that baby in tow/haul mode and go have some fun. Commonly known as "beast mode"
So my Wife traded her Mini Cooper S in on a 2015 Juke SL last month. We just got back fro ma weekend road trip, and you know what? It is a fantastic little car. The boxy lifted rally type look is what drew her to it. She also wanted something that had AWD so she could drive safely in the winter...
We are die hard BC'ers up here and I wouldn't ever call anywhere else my permanent home. But, if the lottery landed in our laps we would have a vacation place on the Oregon Coast. No question about it, it's our favorite state we've spent time by far.
Yes, you will not be disappointed. I have yet to find a negative that outweighs the positives of going to the full size Tundra. The power of the 5.7 will make you giddy like a schoolgirl for years to come.

We have a Fiamma enclosed roll-out awning on our camper and it's fantastic. We use it all the time, in the rain, and especially to shade us from the sun.
I'd never not have an awning again. I can't really comment on the ARB or Bat-Wing type awnings for difficulty of deployment vs whether or not...
