Comes on and off very easy and quick. Would say it takes about 3 mins to remove (just fold down and remove 2 quick release pins)....5 to put back on and cinch everything down. Folds down like a convertible top even quicker. I usually go that route as just folding it forward against the cab...

Yeah a mid week over night run would be cool as well. That first week of August will be warm but depending on the day I would love to do an overnight. The Mono Lake to Bridgeport, CA area is one of my favorite areas on highway 395. There is a ton of back country camping there and you don't have to go far off the road either to find it.
