I have never had to patch it, but I don't really drag it...it is light enough that I just pick it up and put it into the water. It has touched bottom a few times but there are no signs of wear or anything. I haven't put much gear into it so I can't speck to that...I would just make sure it is...
I have a Solstice one person inflatable and I really like it. It has stood up well over the three years that I have had it. It works for me as I have no way to transport a hardshell kayak with my RTT.
This does look interesting as space is a huge factor for me. I would have to do some more research into Potassium nitrate based extinguishers to verify that it really is as good as they say.
I finally got my Cobra 75 WX ST CB installed! It took a few hours and finding a mounting point for the controller took a bit of work but I found an nice out of the way spot behind the glovebox. I was nervous to take apart the dash to tap into my lighter plug for power but it ended up being...
There is no difference in the winches themselves. My ex owns a towing company and he swapped out the steel cable for synthetic with no issues on all his trucks and when he was unable to get synthetic for whatever reason he just put steel cable back on.

I do see your point April. My concern is that by making women's issues a sideline, they will never be accepted as mainstream conversation as they should be. I personally haven't had any questions of that nature that I needed to ask, but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate posting it in a regular...
As a woman, I would rather see these issued discussed openly within the regular topical forum. I think this would encourage better discussion and participation from people who wouldn't typically go to a woman's only area and also open everyones eyes to the particular issues overloading women...
Yesterday I installed my Vector JKE Dock and set up my RAM mounts for my Cell phone and InReach. I also ordered the 12V pigtail I needed to install my new Cobra CB (I have a thing about splicing into my wiring harness) and also have some Blue Ridge Overland Bags coning to keep all my gear organized!
I have had my Garmin InReach Explorer + for a few weeks now and am really liking it. I find the tracking feature to be very useful and my family likes the peace of mind knowing that they can see where I am on the website and can text them regularly. For me it is a vital piece of safety equipment.
There are some other threads that address this issue so you may want to try searching but generally the answer is...it depends. There is no one way to overland. Equipment and modifications largely depend on where you are wanting to go, what your capabilities are, budget etc. It has been...
In the past week I purchased and installed my roof rack then went and played in the snow by the Ancient Forest (east of Prince George BC)! Oh and I picked up a Garmin InReach Explorer+!
