My dog used to get motion sickness and I gave him a tiny bit of baby gravel...He is only 16lbs so I just put a few drops into his mouth. It worked quite well.
Looks like you had a great time! I haven't been brave enough to venture out when it is that cold...day trips but not overnight. I hope to be checking out that area this spring sometime!
Well it isn't really for my rig but I just got a GoPro so I can start recording some of my adventures. On my list of future upgrades is front and rear bumpers and heavy duty suspension. I want to get my setup basically figured out so I can get the right suspension configuration and fine tune it...
I have the KMS Kargo Master Congo Rack and it works excellent for my application and my budget. I added the Catwalk across the cowl and the side steps at the door hinges to make it easier for me to access the tent during setup and takedown.
I received one for Christmas 2017 and it is a permanent fixture in my rig. I haven't had to use it for a boost but it sure charges up other devices quickly and easily and I have the peace of mind that should I need a boost I can help myself!
How about suggesting outings that combine family events with your desire to travel...even if it is celebrating birthdays at a lake or other favorite spot. Otherwise it is just a matter of priorities, miss a few family events to get out more. It can be a tough balancing act for sure.
Last I checked PG still has spam of the cheapest fuel in the province. My last fill up was at Costco at $1.17
I remember visiting the Ksan Village when I was a kid. There were incredible totems and teepees, sweat lodges etc. And if I remember correctly camping was pretty easy there too.
Hazelton is a great area to explore and be sure to check out the Ksan Indian Village. I will be driving this route in two weeks and I will take note of any other sights and stops you should make. The entire drive is beautiful, especially between Terrace and Prince Rupert.
