I am , though to be 100% honest, I wouldn't recommend it. While it works, there have been many times I've had to turn off a layer or two or Gaia locks up. It's also real slow for any other use.
I've had LSD's before and I've found their added benefit to be marginal at best. A selectable locker or some left foot braking to help plus some extra recovery gear.
It was petroleum jelly (finally remembered to look for the extra tubes before little guy went to sleep, 4 months old now). I figure if it works on a 4 day Old's sensitive area like that, it must be ok for other things similar? I remember it did work well keeping the dressing off his wound until...
@A-Aron is correct.
I'd also like to add that my truck with the current suspension and no sway bars handles curves and turns better and more predictably than the truck did with sway bars and the spacer lift. I was never able to get my camber correct ( stuck with too much positive camber) so...
I run my Truck without sway bars, but.....
My truck has many suspension modifications and isn't just a spacer and AAL lift.
I've "Titan swapped" the front suspension so I'm running Nissan Titan Upper and lower control arms on my Frontier which are 3" wider per side. My upper control arms are...
I agree with the above.
Also, what socks is your wife wearing? Good, legit wool or thin cotton?
While my wife is and was never a "fancy dresser" when we first got together I did notice right away how her "warm weather" clothes and sadly, many women's warm weather clothes were built more to...
Realized I was missing two valve stem caps, so, got on Amazon.... 100 pack of the damn things for $5.49.... When I scrolled down I saw a 100 pack of valve cores for $6.39... For $12, I figure I can't go wrong and I can toss a few of each in my tire plug kit.
I would have liked it if he added in a Highway tread tire as well.
I don't see the gain/loss of 1-2 mpg worth the cost of an extra set of tires and possibly wheels. Spending well over $1000 to gain a MPG or two doesn't math out.
Also, that spare set of Mud tires used a handful of times a year...
Your mention of using Vaseline, is there any worry about causing infection from using an already opened tube or tub?
When my son was born and when they sent us home just after he was circumcised, they had us put a dab of Vaseline on a gauze and put it over the area so it wouldn't stick to his...
My advice would be to look at all layers and maps before hand. I'll usually load every one I think I'll use, but then only turn on the ones I like/need for that particular trip.
Nice!
I've got one I slapped together with scrap metal and 2 door hinges. it's not pretty, works, mostly, but has paid for itself in bending up various brackets and the such. Even being able to put a couple of bends in some 1/2" thick strapping to make a bracket is nice.
I'm sure the caveat with the skid plates is the fact that I run aluminum ones and they cover nearly the entire underside of my truck and nothing hangs down under the truck.....
Each skid only weighs about 10lbs. If I was running steel, who knows. Though... once up to speed, vehicle weight...
That's why I mentioned it. I know here in MN, I've seen a few VW Westaflia vans and a few conversion vans with RV plates, so, not sure all what it means.
Could this also affect vehicle registration? Would it be a good idea to check state rules and fees for the possible need to also register said vehicle as such? it would be a shame to change your insurance to save a few bucks, but then open yourself up to higher registration fees or inspections.
