Hello. I did a quick search on the forum and didn't find anything about this topic. I have two dogs, and neither of them do very well in the truck once it starts getting twisty, turny, bouncy, or all three. I recently took them two hours up north to a lake, and both of them threw up in the...
Luckily, I’m a good cook. Unluckily, I hate the kitchen in my apartment that I have to stay in until July. Just so many small things that all add up. I’ve been eating out a lot less, but the delivery that I do order makes up the money I’m saving because it’s so much more expensive.
Ground tent for me. I have a cot with a nice pad I put in there, so I’m basically sleeping on a bed. RTTs are very appealing, but I’d like to keep weight and center of gravity low on my truck. I also like being able to leave my tent out and go hit some trails.
I’d probably be a hammock guy if...

Hey, I hope you enjoy our beautiful state while you’re here! I highly recommend exploring the Four Peaks Wilderness area for one or two days, and going over to Roosevelt Lake. The view from the summit is incredible, and there’s a handful of offshoots that are nice little adventures themselves. I...
My first off-road experience was taking my newly acquired Silverado up to the Rim in the winter with my buddy driving his Tacoma. After driving on a few trails, we finally found one that was open and had camping spots. We were horribly underprepared for any camping, let alone winter camping, but...
My goal is to get out and be a weekend warrior at least once per month, go to Expo West again, and do at least one big trip. I didn't get out nearly enough last year. I also hope to get my truck some bigger and better legs and shoes before Expo.
Hey all, I'm Morgan. I only have about a year under my belt of overlanding, but I've been an outdoorsy explorer type for my whole life, so the only new part of this for me is the long hours of driving :). I got unlucky with a total lemon of a used full-size truck earlier this year, so I sold...
