Heater has been working wonderfully over the winter. I went out black Friday, and took the family out for an overnight trip a few weeks ago. We stayed very warm and cozy overnight.
The water tank heating pads aren't working as well as I had hoped. I had to add a heating pad to the pump, but it...
I run a 2k vevor for my 5x8 square drop. Camped in single digits, and that thing will cook you out of the trailer.
No issues with CO so far, but the heater, and exhaust are outside the trailer, with the heat being ducted into the trailer.
These things happen George! I honestly had missed that it was posted for today, and just assumed that it was yesterday. If it had been today, I could have gone!
I've more or less finalized a design for a custom frame that solves several key issues. The first being able to accommodate a water tank. I've gone with an 11 gallon tank to maximize ground clearance. This tank is less than 5 inches deep.
The second is that it accommodates both a straight axle...
So, I've read the same thing. I still have two of them. One is still going strong after 3 years, and the other is going strong after a year. I realize I may be an outlier here. Personally, I've had great luck with renogy products so far.
I have two of the dc-dc chargers you show. One in my Xterra, and one in my trailer. Both work great.
Now, according to the image above, the battery bms supports 100A max output, which is a theoretical limit of 1340W (based on a typical charge of 13.4V for LiFePO4 batteries) not taking...
These are both items that will be offered. Like I mentioned, the BASE trailer starts at 9999, comes with everything shown. Independent suspension can certainly be fitted, as can a water tank, pump, etc.
Of course, these additional components will come at a cost, but it's easily modified to...
So, after building several trailers, and designing several more, I've decided to start offering them for sale.
I've launched my first trailer, the MGO Owyhee. It's based on my Groot 2.0 build (seen here), and incorporates the following standard features:
Fiberglass coating, with Raptor...
Man, I miss the chief. How are you doing on the rebuild there?
BTW, I got a text from Tess about checking the alternate route you wanted her to take a llo at for you, so we're gonna take the rigs out, and help her check it out.
Meetups like that aren't really my cup of tea. I'd rather meet folks for a trail run.
Unfortunately, with my kiddo's schedule and girl scout cookies kicking off, I'll be pretty booked up until mid March.
I wish. I have to go up to Bogus with my wife's girl scout troop to take them tubing. As fun as that sounds, I think I'd honestly rather go wheeling with George.
My wife and I are planning on doing the Oregon BDR in late June of next year. We plan to hit Bend the day before Expo starts, and will resume the bdr on that following Monday. That also happens to be my birthday weekend. Just saying....
Ahh, I see what you mean. I've come to the same conclusion on mine as well. I'll keep the door for the cabin rear upper center cabinet (as that's where the TV is mounted), but the rest will be nets instead.
I am SOOOO jealous of your shop.
I still need to poly my galley as well. It's my understanding that poly can be sprayed as well. I'm likely going to try that in the spring.
A note on the cargo net, I have one in mine, and I'm not a fan. Mine is below my storage, above my feet, and I'm going...
Aything on Amazon that provides a constant 12.4 volts and can handle 20A will work fine. I no longer have that particular setup. I now use a 2k heater for my trailer, and it doesn't have that problem anymore.
