My solar controller does not say whether or not it is protected from back feeding when the alternator is charging my 3rd battery. Without having much knowledge about solar panels, and kind of learning as I go, I don’t trust the controller to be protected. So I am now waiting for 2 diodes to show...

I don’t see much wrong with that spot at all.

Not my expedition rig, more like day trip, or vacation without camping vehicle. I have camped out of it a few times though. Would not hesitate to use it as the main overlanding vehicle if something ever happened to my dodge. It’s an 04 with 121,000 on it.

And to correct my own story. The wife is the one that called him in. He fell off his 4 wheeler and couldn’t sit up without swaying in circles. Then just decided my driveway was a great place to hang out and drink for a while since he couldn’t get back on his quad.

This is the good view from my house. And the big reason I love my sxs. I can load up some firearms and ammo in my side by side and ride straight from my house. In 10 minutes I can go anywhere I want and not see another person for days. And in a small community if I do see them I probably know...
