LED's will always be the first thing I ever do to a new vehicle. It was like seeing the sun for the first time when I swapped out all my incandescents in the F-150.
I seen this on Facetweet this morning and thought it was funny.
I'd say I'm # 5,6,&7.

I tend to think the emblem numbers should be generational. e.g. 0-500 Gen1 501-1000 Gen2 and so on. Within the emblem Generations people could be free to choose the numbers. That would keep things organized without crazy random numbers popping up. Easy categorizing with no crazy numeral...
Oh, Gotcha. 24.25" is where I have them. That's the max I can go without causing undue stress on the CV's. The rear is still higher than the front by about an inch.
Factory 31" 265/something/17's
Torsion bars are still there, you just can't see them because the factory location of them is above/behind the frame rail. If I had a suspension lift, there would be a large bracket that repositioned and leveled the Torsion bar.
That's actually one of the...
I left the Valley (Granada Hills/Northridge) in '05 and vowed I'd never move back till they start using some common sense. I doubt that'll ever happen and that's very sad. I really think it's some of the most beautiful land in America.
My wife went on a business trip a few years ago and got 3 of these in a vendor goody bag. 100w is just enough for a laptop or to charge any USB device to include camera batteries. We keep one in each daily driver along with one in our BOB/trip pack. That means we almost always have two on...
I had to buy a Yellow Top today. On our way out to the trail we stopped at the park for the little one to run out some energy and the truck wouldn't re-start. :0/ Odd considering I just had the battery trickle charged and tested yesterday.
I mostly finished my body lift finally and was able to drive it for the first time yesterday since I started this "little" project. It's taken me over a month because of tons of reasons. All that's left now is adjust my crooked bumper and install the gap guards.
There's a ton of room for a...
I am far from the most experienced Overlander but I'd drop my F150 in a heartbeat for a Diesel Excursion -wheelbase be darned. I think it's all about what You want to do and where you expect to take the rig.
I don't do difficult technicals and I don't climb boulders but I do take a LOT of...
While installing my body lift, I decided to put in a new Dual core Radiator while I had my old one out. I have no idea what ford was thinking putting a single core radiator in a tow package Supercrew F150.
Middle of the body lift install.
I'm starting this today. 3" Body Lift from Performance Accessories. The wife and little one have a hard time getting up in the truck without running boards so I've decided to put them back on. The problem is, if I put them on without the BL, I'll lose ground clearance. If I add the BL it...
I won't link the Forum article because I'm goofy but here's their Comparison Blog about them.

..meanwhile, here I am about to put my running boards back on. The Wife and munchkin can't get in the truck as it is so I'm lifting the body and putting on the running board.
