Yeah, I have a couple you can use. They're telescoping ones from REI. Going to be using the OzTent and it comes with poles for the awning so I won't need to use the REI ones.
Sounds good. I'm going to have Mike pick the camp site. It will probably be in the trees so there's more shade for Hunt. There will be at least 4 trucks there in the afternoon so just look for the big group.
Hey @DuncNasty08. I'm in SF, and will be leaving at 9am. We can meet in San Rafael if you want. I'm going to top at the Safeway in Novato for last minute food and gas.

Hey everyone! I wanted to bump this and post a link to a quick recap video of the Team Hunt Adventure's first week here in CA! Mike (@Trailspin), Ellen and Hunt have been having a great time and have already met a few OB members at Corral Hollow.
This weekend they'll be up in the Lost Coast...
Please note, there is a $15.00 overnight camp fee for Usal Beach (Friday). We will pay the Usal fee at the Sinkyone Ranger Station Saturday afternoon. The one at the beach gets vandalized too often. It's $8.00 to camp overnight (Saturday) at Nadelos or Wailaki. There are too many rigs to stay in...
Pelican cases. A few I've purchased new, but most of them I find off Craigslist for about half the cost of new.

My RV-5 is arriving on Monday, but I've used my buddy's on a few trips. It gets strapped to the Safety Devices rack on my Discovery 2. The rack is long enough to fit the tent straight.
I'll snap a pic when it's loaded for the trip home and post it for ya.
You don't have to worry about cold temps and Dyneema. It actually gets a little stronger (by 5-10%) at temps of -50*C (-58*F). Samson has published test results on their site that show their results. They concluded safe operating temps can be at least as low as -125*C (-193*F).
Heat however...
Looks like a good start. Lots of area to fit a lot of people. Are the uprights telescoping? For rain you usually want to have a low side so the water can run off and not pool, weighing down the canvas. Or you could place a pole in the center and get a peaked roof. I'm 6'4" and appreciate lots of...
One of the great things about Warn winches is their serviceability. When I first got my XD9000i it wouldn't go into freespool. The entire planetary gear assembly was removed, cleaned and got a fresh coating of grease and hasn't had an issue in over 7 years of ownership.
Late last Fall there...
