    RoadShower vs WaterPort ??

I picked up a roadshower earlier this year. It’s a very convenient way to transport 7 gallons and does heat up nicely in the desert sun. Holds pressure and works as advertised.

    Looking for a pop-up canopy

Living in the desert doesn’t give us much experience with the rain. We did have one evening when it showered a pretty good while we were sleeping and woke up to a dry kitchen. The flap that acts as a windshield also does a good job keeping the weather out. The only disadvantage is the...

    Looking for a pop-up canopy

I use pop-ups in a basecamp setup , but have also found the larger ones easily damaged by strong winds (25+ mph). Even when staked down the canopy can become a sail and bend and break the “scissor assembly” that supports the perimeter of the canopy. The best way to mitigate that is to lower the...

Are you the one that posted it a few months back? I took it to an 8” log and it went right through it with not to much effort. And a very clean cut to boot.

    Agawa Canyon folding saw

If you’re talking about this... Otherwise I can’t compare it to another folding bow saw having never used one. I think the bow saw design is much more ergonomic than the folding saw. I’m also thinking the bow saw is much less fatiguing and more efficient especially when cutting through some...

    Agawa Canyon folding saw

I am always looking out for gear I might have overlooked or felt I didn’t need in past. I saw (no pun intended) another member post this saw from Agawa Canyon and decided I should add it to my kit. Assembly is simple and straightforward. Once assembled the saw feels solid with very little flex...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Picked up a receiver hitch mounted flagpole from a local guy. Had to get it measured for a custom fit due to the tire carrier.

If I have the tools, I am clearing the obstacle. Might even take some firewood with me.

    Shoe rack for RTT

Hasn’t been a problem in the desert or the NV/UT mountains. But in bear or raccoon country definitely a consideration. In that case the toiletries go somewhere else.

They fold flat to the size of a notebook and can be stored in the tent when the tent is folded up.

    New ARB Jack!

That a cool jack, but not sure it’s $772 cool. For that you could get a decent winch that would’ve made the recovery in the promo video a hell of a lot easier.
