LOVE mine...I also suggest a PLB of some sort. Yes the InReach might be considered that, but it is fairly low power. Most PLBs are 10 times the power AND on a dedicated system of gov't satellites. There are also NO monthly or yearly charges. The ARC PLBs start at $275 and guaranteed for 5 years...

I looked for a very long time to find the right service bed. Being a single wheel, short bed made it quite a challenge. I saw a million steel beds but most were so trashed they were basically junk. I saw one or two aluminum beds but they wanted a and arm and a leg. I finally saw a fiberglass bed...
