I
I know a couple have landed in North GA, but I haven't seen them in real life yet. I've seen a couple of RHD, diesel LandCruisers and I've been stupid jealous of those too!!!! Damn, I wish my Ford Ranger had the bigger foreign market diesel in it!!!!!
My wife is 5'2" also and always rolls her eyes getting into my truck! I'm hoping to sell her on me getting "running boards" (hahahaha sliders) to help her get into the truck!
I can only speak to the Ford, so bear with me. The Ford Ranger is a beautiful product when you consider that it didn't make it to the North American market until it had done YEARS of sales in Australia, Asia, and Europe. Not only did we get a proven truck (ute) over here with the Ranger, but...

Just got caught back up on your project. I hate the issue you had with the driver door and fender, and I'm glad your slowly getting her back into shape! That's pretty wild about the snorkel in it's past! I'm jealous - this is a nice rig!!!!
HAHAHAHA
I'm also a transplant in my current state of GA - originally from NJ. If this move happens, I'll be leaving 16 years of a law enforcement career and bringing more than just a Glock with me. :D
Is there any place where one could drive down to the Keys, pull up on a beach or near the ocean, and enjoy some good camping with the sounds of waves? Or is it all homes and organized campgrounds?
My wife and I are looking at a possible move to the Boca Raton area and I was wondering what the overland scene might be like in the area. I'm very fortunate to have the north Georgia mountains close by here and I'm actually worried about there not being a lot of terrain down in Florida. But on...
