I just bought my first RTT (Area BFE black clam shell). I am so pumped to use it. The wife and I are driving to Denver to pick it up a week from tomorrow. We are planning on camping in it on the way home to Nebraska. This leads me to my 2 questions....
1. What is the "go no-go" for wind...
As the date is fast approaching, I noticed the wind is getting pretty heavy. Are there areas there to escape the wind? Or is it all prairie and wind will be the norm
New question on the CPAP. I recently ordered a clam shell RTT (AreaBFE) similar to the Roof Nest Falcon. Anyone have a similar tent, if so where do you put your CPAP at night? I wondering about removing the storage net and putting in a lightweight Molle Panel and velcro...

My buddy should have his new JL by then, not sure he is ready to pinstripe it yet. Kinda thinking Losses Hills. I've been hearing a lot of people talk about it on FB...
Is it safe to assume that an aluminum clamshell RTT will block the signal on my factory sat radio (2017 Jeep Wrangler)? If so, is it a simple unplug it and buy a magnetic mount antenna and move it to the top of the RTT? Any recommendations on which antenna to buy? Will the RTT also effect the...
Arriving in Denver on Saturday, dropping wife off to visit family. I'll pick up the RTT (Denver) we will spend the night and head back Sunday. So yes there is a time crunch... I'll look into the grasslands, and the Fort Collins. Thanks for the information...
No heater...so that's probably gonna be out of the question for wife's first trip...Is there anything close to Denver that would be good? Or should we just Hotel it?
