Im looking at buying an air rifle and I'm hoping for some input from you fine folks. I want something cheap to shoot that I don't need a range for to keep my skills sharp, and I want to be able to do some pest control. I've looked some at the Crosman rifles but not much more. Thoughts?
I started last summer, it's pretty easy to learn and get started, you don't need a lot of gear, works best on smaller streams. They weigh nothing, it's really easy to toss one in your pack and forget about it.
I have a watch problem. What I wear most days is a Seiko dive watch, skx009 to be exact. You can pick one up from Amazon for under $200, it's pretty much indestructible, waterproof to 200m, automatic movement so you never need a battery and if you rock it with NATO straps it can go from field...
2010 Chevy Traverse LTZ AWD. It's the mommy mobile. Slightly cooler than a mini van, it's loaded, seats 7, holds our kids, dogs and camping gear when we go car camping and don't need the capability of the jeep. Also it gets way better fuel mileage.
I don't think so. While the search for the humvee replacement is on, the Humvee is a beast when it comes to towing and hauling, a jeep can't touch it. The next daily driver will do everything the humvee does but be armored. That's just the direction we're going. The American public doesn't find...
@WUzombies Of course man! I might have some pictures some where, but it's really straight forward, you could probably just get away with applying the rtv to the gap between the trim piece and the lens and not even take it apart.
I want to do WABDR this summer too. I was planning my WABDR trip for a bit later in the summer, depending on how much snow we get and when it starts melting, some of the route might still be covered in snow at the end of June. Some years higher elevation roads aren't clear until mid July or...
I have the same low cost Amazon Cree led bars, I read a review about the condensation problem so when mine arrived I disasembled the light and discovered that the seal under the lens is poor and the screws around the outer trim piece were too tight causing the lens to warp and make the crappy...
I agree. I've owned some very cheap gerbers, which were just ok, but you get what you pay for. All of their mid level or better stuff has always been great. I'm not a fan of their multi-tools though. I'd rather have a leatherman.
Mr and Mrs Overland Bound,
On December 21st I placed order OB1840, the order status still says unfulfilled. I don't want to rush you guys or anything, I was just wondering if you have an idea on the ship date? Please don't do anything special, I'm just excited to add to my patch collection and...
I have the bear grylls knife too. It mot seem like a gimmick but it's a pretty sweet knife. I have no complaints about it. I also have a gerber lmf II and a SOG WWII MK1 navy issue fighting knife, it's a reissue from song a few years ago, but it's a great field knife.
I also agree that wheel spacers are not ideal. That being said, I have them on my jeep right now. They weren't in the the plans, but became necessary because of rear tire/shock issues. After a lot of research I decided that they can be safe. I retorque my spacers every 3000 miles when I change...
