My confusion with the Bronc is, that I have heard the "sport" or smaller version will be based on the Escape chassis and platform meaning....definitely IFS?, but the big brother AKA full size bronc...Maybe live axles??? Waiting to see, I was under the impression that the Sport version will be...
Just took delivery of and installed the ROAM Adv Co 6.5x8 awning (6.5 is the length along the truck installed). I chose the ROAM after A LOT of research and looking. One factor for me was that the knuckles where the legs and arms mount and pivot are metal not plastic. I am also awaiting the ROAM...
I love all the ideas everyone posted, I saw a couple that I may pick up for parties and social events as they hold everything (digging the jerry can setup). This was the winner for tossing in the back of the truck with my gear. I don't care of this gets beat up, but it will definatley keep my...
I’m also going to give props to mep1811 for choosing the orange pelican, will always know where the good stuff is among all the gear, and that’s important!!
I have a couple of the smaller harbor freight Apache boxes and have found them to be sturdy and of good quality. None have failed on me yet and they are cheap. Nice thing is that I have a harbor freight right down the street from me. Was planning on heading there today. That may be the winner!!
Thanx, That is the setup I have been looking at doing, would just have cutouts for two bottles and it looks like that case would be the proper size for them. Nice job though, I like that its everything you would need to cap off a day on the trail. LOL
I have and they are pretty cool, I dont usually take the whole bar, just looking for the right case for a couple bottles. Just want them to be secure and padded so they dont break while bouncing around. I do like the idea of the antique or vintage officer's campaign bar, I'll have to do some...
One of the joys of getting out and hitting the backroads is setting up camp, starting a fire and having a nice glass of a quality spirit at the end of the day. I am putting together a Whiskey/Scotch and Wine bottle travel case for our excursions. Has anyone put together a nice padded case with...
Thanx for the info. Yes, quite familiar with the black flies, its either mosquitoes or flies up there. going to try to avoid them as much as possible. Depending on my work sched, I wouldn't be surprised if my trip ends up being more along the late May/early June time frame. I definately would...
Am planning a U.P. trip for this summer running from Escanaba up to Munising and Marquette. Does anyone have any experience with any good overland routes through or around this area? I am looking for some good camping spots and back road routes/trails. I have grown up spending a lot of time in...
Thanx for the help. That was my understanding as well that the small batt. was for the auto start stop. I will head over and check out Genesis. Im interested to see how they were able to work around that system.
Am wondering if anyone has installed or attempted to do a dual battery setup in a new ('18) Wrangler JL. The new JL already has two batteries (main batt and one small powersports sized battery underneath the fuse box. My overall question is...is this already a dual battery setup that could work...
Hi everyone, I've been an avid off roader and outdoorsman since I was very young. Grew up following the Turtle Expedition in Four Wheeler magazine. Will be starting a rig build this year (finally). My first vehicles were a '78 CJ5 and a '77 chevy K5 blazer (I miss them both), currently a '07 GMC...
