Well the 2006 Rubicon Unlimited (LJ) has been sold. I recently went down to Hawthorne NV to pick up a 1955 Willys Wagon in need of some rehabilitation.

Last week Saturday, 4/22/2023 I led a the Homesteaders run as part of the annual Three Club Run south of Mountain Idaho. These was a scenic run for folks who enjoy the dirt roads. I conducted a good deal of Tread Lightly instruction about not spinning tires and staying on the dirt paths.
Today I was part of the High Desert Off Road adopt a highway and trail clean up out near Hemingway Butte, Idaho near the Snake River. After enjoying a club provided BarB Q of Burgers and hot dogs, 4 of us in Jeeps and 1 88 Bronco vehicles ran a challenging trail called Carnage.
Did a night run with the crew from one of our local 4 wheel drive clubs last night . Went up Grimes Creek Rd, to a place called Miners Grave and back down to Idaho City which is an old mining town.
Pretty excited to be going to the PNW Expo in July. Going to help a friend who is just getting into Overlanding learn the ropes and the capabilities of Mercedes 4x4 van on the courses.
Just returned from a 2400 mile trip to the Grand Canyon, Chaco Canyon and Mesa Verde and back to Idaho. The road into Chaco is destroyed. I would recommend airing down the tires. Archaeology and Anthropology where incredible.
Just received my Ham Technician license number last night from the FCC. Stoked!
Just returned from the annual High Desert Off Road “Hangover” snow run in celebration of the new year. Did a bit over 100 mile loop from east Boise ID, mostly in snow, about 2 degrees this morning. Drove above Lucky Peak reservoir towards the community of Atlanta. 18 rigs

Completed a day trip with High Desert off road club in the Owyhee’s yesterday. Good people and a good time.
My wife and daughter had fun learning experience this past weekend with Esprit de Four at there off road training course @Hollister Hills
Had great time a Hollister Hills with OB members, 6000, 3344 and the trip coordinator 5524.
Looking forward to meeting some folks for the Hollister Hills run this Saturday!
