Hi all, I’m new to the site and fairly new to overlanding. I’m based out of Massachusetts,

I’ve got a 2018 Subaru Forester 6 speed, early stages of the build right now, I’ve got 15” method wheels with 235/75/15r cooper ATs, primitive skids, and I’m putting billstein b8 terra-sports struts in this weekend or next.

Besides cars, I enjoy being outside, mountain biking with bikes older than me, playing guitar, and 2 way radio associated hobby’s.

I am one of the OB Ambassadors in Europe. @XC70_OVERLANDER is the nearest Local Expert to you. Please do not hesitate to contact him or me for questions regarding Overland Bound, and the App or information regarding overlanding.

Local information for any of the OB regions can also be found in the Overland Bound by region forum. Each region has its own sub-forum. Germany, for example, belongs to the region MidEurope. So, this link leads to the MidEurope subforum. Feel free to introduce yourself to your local area here.

Please take a look at the Rally Points for planned meetups. There you can filter by region. There are plenty of meetups planned for 2026 for Europe already and more to come.

We also do a virtual campfire once a month, there are always members from many regions of Europe. Next one is scheduled for end of May. This is a relaxed online talk about overlanding, trip plans, gear, everyday life and more with like-minded people. Just join us next time if you like.

Hello! My name is River Edwards, and I'm a teacher in central Illinois. I've been interested in overlanding for several years, but finally made the plunge about a year ago! My wife, Madi, and I have explored parts of the FAT (Florida Adventure Trail) and spent a week driving along the TWAT (Trans-Wisconsin Adventure Trail).

Over the winter, we made some big decisions, buying a trailer and upgrading to a new (to us) Roofnest Condor XL. (Gotta have room for the pups)

I'm joining the community to meet up with new people and join some group rides.
