Just got my Explore Overland sliders and lov‘em!

All right, real skid (no more Toyota stock aluminum foil) and EO sliders just installed So basic armor in place. Anyone plan to get out in the Ohio or surrounding states in the next couple months?

all, just wanted to revive his thread. I should actually have my skids & sliders on in the next couple weeks and have my tent and bed bars on the way. Let me know if you guys plan any Ohio or surrounding area trips this summer.

Just wanted to give a quick update. I ended up going with Explore Overland (EO) out of NY for my sliders and skids. I hope to be heading up there soon to get them. Will be about an 8 hour drive. EO has been great to work with so far and looks like they build some bomber stuff. Looking forward to...

Thanks for the response! The hammock tents seem to get great reviews and most people talk a lot about the comfort. I have a Teton tent, mattress and cot combo now. Overall relatively comfortable but you still need to work a bit to get it level, the rain fly would be a lot to put on in the middle...

Wondering if anyone out there is running a Haven Tent - LayFlat hammock tent. Or any other hammock tent for that matter. If so, I would love your overall opinion of the tent, pros/cons, etc. Seriously considering the Haven to try to stay lite and minimalist (no RTT) - at least for now...
