Built this one in 2015. We love travelling in it, Been all over US, Canada, Alaska. It is fun having a home built trailer, you know how to fix what breaks. Still have it.
They are in paper, but I down load them into an app I have, Avenza Maps, it’s a free app and the maps are geo-rectified, means it will use your phones GPS and show you where you are on the map. Go to the national forest web site and you will find the maps.
The Cherokee NF around the Ocoee River is very nice. Not far from Chatannoga. Mild roads and some wild camping avilible. We are going next weekend. Make sure you have a MVUM with you. Shows roads and where you can camp. Have fun!
I agree weight determines by law, but consider as I assume you are talking about a trail trailer, that brakes give you more control on the trail. Think about descending a hill with a loaded trailer and having the trailer helps keep the trailer from pushing your rig out of your chosen line. My...
