That looks good. You could always install some rubber mat on the top of your platform. That way your doggos have something to grip and the paint won't get scrapped up. I use a commercial style floor mat Frome home Depot cut to fit.
I considered a Zone lift for my WJ but went another direction in the end. I can't say either way because I don't have experience with them. But I would think they're decent enough.

I've been through Halsey before. It was brief (just a couple hours during a road trip) but it was a blast and I'd like to camp there this summer sometime. The Scott Tower is awesome on a clear night.
