A few shots over the past year

Quick Memorial weekend getaway to one of my favorite spots along the East Fork of the Carson River south of Gardnerville, NV. Trail down to river area was moderate as it was rocky with ruts. No one else in the area.

We spent 4 nights in DV just a few weeks back... Here is a photo dump of the trip. DAY 1-Drove from Northern California to Trona Pinnacles with three other OB members and explored there for an hour or two before driving into the park and making Camp off the Minietta Mine Rd. The weather was...

I really like going at that time of the year for the reasons you mentioned. I believe that the East bay group is planning a trip in Spring, another great time...you should go!
