Austin and Houston are too, and last 2 years they got snow and we didn't get anything. I hope you get some snow too. Ive given up hope, I plan to travel to the snow at some point this winter. Im thinking of maybe going to angel fire if I get a chance.

I wish we had snow. Here in North Texas we used to get at least one decent snow every winter and now we have been in a 4 year snow drought. I have no hope for any snow or ice this winter.

Thanks. Most the trails in my area close at sunset. There are a couple that stay open but they are a bit of a drive for an after work ride. We also have all our trails close when it rains. I am taking a half day at work to get an afternoon ride is due to the rain coming tomorrow and Friday.

My favorite form of camp entertainment is an R/C car. I have a traxxas TRX-4 that I bought specifically for camping. It is perfect for this since it is slow enough that breaking is not a concern and the battery life is much better than other types of R/Cs.
