    Local Information RE: Stanislaus

I'll message you in the morning. We're not looking for anything real technical. Just nice spots to explore. If we can we'll leave camp set up and explore for a couple days and move on. We want to make our way down to YNP, in my fantasy version of this trip we avoid as much rush hour traffic as...

Check out our latest article about travelling with a child who has autism.

I know this post is a little old now, but I just wanted to chime in that I have 3 boys, 2 of which are autistic. They both love to ride, only one likes to camp. lol. We still go as much as possible.

    Reaccuring Events

Sorry fellas, I'd rather pull out my toe nails than drive up I5 for two hours on a Friday lol. Maybe if I was camping up there for the weekend. Anyone have some good dispersed site close to Burlington?

I would love to do this. My understanding is that some of this trail remains pretty bound up with snow and downed trees into the summer. So yeah, let's plot and plan. Sounds like fun

Woo! I am over the cold finally, survived the holidays and my 20th wedding anniversary! Holy crap December went fast. If anyone is in Olympia and wants to catch a brew sometime give me a shout. Feel like I missed out.

US Northwest Western Washington Meet and Greet - 12/22/2018

Just because it's something I would do, I want to point out there is a 7 Seas in Gig Harbor too. We're not going there lol. So something I would do.

Awesome. I'm hoping I can learn a lot from some locals. I'm still pretty new to the west. I tend to forget about things like the "snow line" lol.

    Suggestions for GPS device.

Sorry, I wasn't very clear here. The Inreach Mini will act as a GPS puck too. It can bluetooth over to a phone or tablet. It also has that nifty back country texting and SOS feature. But it's pricey.
