Hey y’all, any locals with local repeater knowledge? Any hams that want to chat while at expo? I’ll have 2m/1.25m/70cm and FRS and MURS capability.

I’m in a similar boat. Coming up from central NC. Do the wooded sites have tent pads or just tree roots? I’d probably hammock camp anyway. But, if you convoy and check in together would your sites be adjacent, or is it assigned at registration time, or is it first come first pick.

All suspension links, springs, bushings, etc have been replaced. All steering links, TREs, and ball joints are replaced. Need a steering box and an alignment, but the DW appears to be mostly gone.

Currently in a suspension/driveline improvement. OME HD springs, IRO links, and TrailForged trackbar. Working out the bugs with swaybar links, bump stops, etc.

If I’m reading the website correctly, an 8.5” wheel is the sweet spot for the 275s.

Have you chosen your wheels? What width? I would lean towards the 275s instead of the 295s if you are set on that tire and a 20” wheel. I would be more interested in the 265/70R18 if 17s aren’t an option.

On the back, because I’m slow, and that’s the only flat piece of sheet metal on a WJ.
