Yes august 11th.

Thinking about running some unmaintained roads between Kilgore and Collingwood next Saturday. I'm likely to end up riding mtb at the bike park at blue mountain. Any interest?

Sure! I had a santa run in collingwood this saturday. No time to explore. However, I found 2 more unmaintained roads. Going to try to find time before winter to explore. Thinking one big day. If your interested.

The fun section was concession 6 south just south of creemore and the river there. FYI there's a rutty part that is clay based and slick. I got some tree branch marks also, but not through clear coat. The rest of it was just, 'oh hey' there's gravel let go this way.

Took a short 24 hr trip to Collingwood after work. I always enjoy driving up that way. It's fairly easy to find gravel roads and if lucky sometimes you find more! Friday night I was following a route I found traced from Orangeville to Collingwood. The last road I travelled was very slick and...

I had a local fabricating shop do all the aluminum work, then a local boat top fitter do the tent portion. I then finished the details. All in I was about 2/3rds the cost of a typical hardshell tent. HOWEVER, the tent needs no roof rack or cross bars it bolts directly to the stock roof rails...

I don't have the photos on my iPad, however, if you go to my profile and under recent activity you will find my DIY rtt. Cost less then what's on the market and I can strap things to the top. I'll post more photos when I get a chance.

Late to the party but..... I made one last fall. I drew it up in autocad and had it fabricated from 1/8" aluminum! Fully welded seams lockable latch 10" tall with a 4" double mattress in it. I also reinforced it enough to strap a canoe or whatever else I wanted to the top. I had a local boat...

Definitely jealous. I was stalking this thread before the trip, but sadly couldn't make it. Definitely some nice rigs there! And I second the 'hope to make the next one'
